Stewart Wainfor is a retired maintenance engineer who worked predominantly in the chemical and personal care products industries. Although he has written many short spoof articles, he considers his only serious piece to be his father-of-the-bride speech at his daughter's wedding!

He maintains a keen level of interest in books, films, drawing, and music, owning several guitars, each of which — in his words — he plays to the same high level of mediocrity.

His favorite film of all time is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
