Patricia Hernandez

Patricia is the former editor-in-chief of Kotaku, where she spent a decade writing and editing. Prior to that, she served as the Culture Editor at Polygon, and as a reporter at The Verge. She specializes in offbeat internet culture stories, along with reports on unbelievable player triumphs. During her free time, she feeds stray cats, boxes, and obsesses over Taylor Swift. Officially, she has a bachelors in media studies from Hampshire College, but realistically the degree should probably be about Pokémon instead. She's currently living in Minneapolis, where she's likely awake at some unholy hour playing Marvel Snap or getting carpal tunnel from holding a Steam Deck.
