Alex Petrovnia is a transgender writer, advocate, and science communicator with a background in Environmental Resources Management and Biology. He currently works as a fisheries biologist with a specialty in aquatic invasive species research.

He is also the Founder and President of the Trans Formations Project Inc, a small 501(c)(4) nonprofit dedicated to tracking and educating about the anti-transgender legislative crisis in the United States, which can be found at transformationsproject.org.
