It’s the circle of life, bringing us all the way around back to 1993, with three classic Disney 16-bit games, based on Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book, now available online. We are in the grip of a nostalgia revolution, and honestly, with the way the present is going, it’s a welcome reprieve. Stay one jump ahead of existential dread!

GOG.com, the maker of the new releases, say the games have been “meticulously updated to be compatible with modern operating systems”, without changing any of the original graphics or gameplay. These three titles are part of an ongoing partnership between GOG.com and Disney that will probably be bringing us more gems in the future. The games are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Since not every company has gone the Nintendo route and given us an awesome retro console yet, updating our old faves to a be playable just a bare necessity of getting by in 2016.

Check out the hella fun looking game play preview.
