Netflix has yet to renew the series, but read on for everything we do know about Immortals Season 2 and keep checking back for more information.

Spoilers for Immortals Season 1 below.

What Happened at the End of Immortals Season 1?

At the beginning of Season 1, Mia travels to Istanbul to find Dmitry, the vampire who turned her since if she kills him, she can become human again. In her quest for revenge, she works with another vampire, Karmen, who too had her life ruined by a vampire.

Just as Mia thinks she’s getting her revenge in the finale, however, Dmitry reveals he wasn’t the one to turn her. It was actually Numel, who only did it because Mia was about to die. Numel had been in the cell in the dungeon next to hers in Greece in 1879, and the two fell for each other, but this love story isn’t one that’s meant to last.

“I’ll give you what you want. I’ll die, then you could start living again,” Numel tells Mia before killing himself.

Karmen then joins Mia and reveals it was Numel, not Dmitry like she’d led the other vampire to believe, who had taken her humanity. Karmen had played Mia.

This love story wasn't meant to be on 'Immortals.'

Will There Be an Immortals Season 2?

We don’t know yet. Netflix is the international distributor, so first, it would have to be renewed in Turkey. The cliffhanger ending to Season 1 may help its chances, as would popularity on the streaming service. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

What Is the Immortals Season 2 Release Date?

Again, first it has to be renewed. Then, if it is, it will likely be released in Turkey before becoming available internationally on Netflix.

Season 1 was released in Turkey in September 2018, and the episodes dropped on Netflix on March 8, 2019. We may have a better idea of an Immortals Season 2 release date after the episodes premiere in Turkey. It’s also possible Season 2 could make the jump to the streaming service a lot faster if there’s enough interest from fans.

When Will the Immortals Season 2 Trailer Be Released?

The first season was released on Netflix without much fanfare or even an official trailer. However, if it is renewed, it’s likely that Netflix will use a few teasers, for renewal and release date announcements, and drop an official trailer to promote it.

How Many Episodes Will There Be in Immortals Season 2?

Season 1 consists of eight episodes. If there is a second season, it’s possible the episode count will remain the same.

What Is the Immortals Season 2 Plot?

Again, we don’t know because the series has yet to be renewed. However, there were several dangling plot threads from the first season.

What will happen to Mia now that Numel is dead? What will she do now that she knows Karmen’s role in what happened and that the other vampire had been lying to her?

There’s also the war between vampires and humans (and some vampires and vampires) to consider. Thee humans were prepared to fight at the end of Season 1.

Who Will Be in the Immortals Season 2 Cast?

Season 1 starred Elçin Sangu, Kerem Bürsin, Selma Ergeç, Birkan Sokullu, Nilperi Sahinkaya, Türkü Turan, Efecan Senolsun, and Elit Iscan.

If there is a Season 2, we can assume that Bürsin and Sokullu, who played Dmitry and Numel respectively, could only return for flashbacks since their characters were killed off. It’s also likely that new characters will be brought in to explore new storylines.

Immortals Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
