As High Dynamic Range is in line to be the next serious picture quality movement in TVs, Sony showed its dedication to the format by introducing a new 4K HDR set Tuesday during the company’s 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show presentation.

The big gun Sony TV of the CES 2016 show, the X930D 4K HDR was described by Sony President and CEO Mark Fasulo as a product that “takes picture quality to new heights.” A slim monitor designed to blend into the wall with a borderless motif, Sony says it’s capable of more vibrant colors than what’s possible via standard HDR. It will be available in 55”, 65”, and 75” models when released in the spring (prices yet to be announced).
