Plan Your 'Fallout 4' Character Right Now With Fan-Made Build Planner

Waste time now so you can get to playing when 'Fallout 4' releases November 10.

You can avoid wasting precious hours when you start Fallout 4 in the character creation screen by planning out your skills right now via a fan-made character builder.

While you can’t build what they look like, RPG Gaming has an interactive planner that lets you distribute stats to particular skills as you would in Fallout 4, complete with Vault Boy smiling right at ya. It’s basically giving you a piece of the game right now so you can zip past and get to playing come November 10.

Another benefit is that you can see in advance what higher-level perks you’re able to unlock based on how you level up. This will save a lot of agonizing later when you’ve realized you can’t choose select Computer Hacker because you went with something totally useless.

Deep RPG games like Fallout 4 always start with wasted hours spent in character creation, making sure everything about her/him looks right and sweating over whether you chose the right skills. I spent the majority of my first few hours on Mass Effect making sure my Shepard looked perfect and in no way a walking abomination. I was shocked how, in the right light, my version of the galaxy’s hero would look like Steve Buscemi.

Fallout 4 comes out November 10 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
