Becky Gomez Is the New Yellow Ranger in 2017's 'Power Rangers'
The final piece of the 'Power Rangers' superhero puzzle has been formed.
The team’s all here. The Yellow Ranger of Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers has been recruited, and it’s singer Becky Gomez.
Joining Becky Gomez are actors Darce Montgomery, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler, and Naomi Scott in Lionsgate’s newest movie and hopeful start to a franchise.
This week, Collider featured an exclusive report on the characters of the Power Rangers film, which confirmed my own suspicions that the Power Rangers are entirely new characters who inherit the original Dinozord powers. Speculatively, Gomez will be playing Teyana Jones, who will suit up as the Yellow Ranger.
Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers will be released January 13, 2017 from Lionsgate with a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz.
