'Arrow' Comic Preview Shows Double Down
This week, the Green Arrow faces off against a maniacal card trickster.
Every week, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim posts comic-style previews of episodes on Twitter. They’re one-page adaptations of moments to expect, which can offer insight into where everyone is headed.
Other times, it’s showing off a bad guy and how screwed Oliver and his crew will be. Today is one of those times.
In the upcoming episode “Restoration,” Oliver will do battle with Double Down (played by J.R. Bourne), a metahuman who can throw razor-sharp playing cards peeled from the tattoos on his body.
The most important story this week won’t be on the Green Arrow. It’s on Laurel, Thea, and their attempt to resurrect Sara in Nanda Parbat with the Malcolm Merlyn and the League of Assassins’ help. And because we know for a fact that John Constantine will be the one to help them, this week may not end well for anybody.
