'Batman v. Superman' Rated PG-13 for 'Some Sensuality'

There could be some tender loving in DC's big-budget bro down next year.

We knew Batman and Superman were going to rumble and tumble, but how about some smooching? Next year’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice has just been rated PG-13 by the MPAA for violence, intense action, and “some sensuality.”

So, who is gonna get lucky? Batman and Wonder Woman, probably. The trailers have hinted a strong attraction between the two. And while the comics regularly paired Wonder Woman and Superman, the Justice League series had Wonder Woman and Batman being a thing.

But Dawn of Justice isn’t a cartoon! It’s a DARK and SERIOUS movie, but this rating isn’t unprecedented. Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises received a similar score (“PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some sensuality and language”) and had the same amount of bare skin at the beach and only implied fun in the sheets.

Batman v. Superman: Hot and Heavy releases March 25, 2016.
