New cosmetics incoming.

Apex Legends Season 3 is just around the corner, which means gamers will receive more challenges and rewards with the game’s third Battle Pass.

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed the introduction of a completely new glacier and lava-filled battleground, called “Meltdown”. It will also expand the hero roster to include Crypto, a master hacker with an aerial drone and electro-magnetic blast at his disposal. But the company has been hushed about will be included in Season 3’s Battle Pass, even just a day before it’s expected to launch.

“Over 100 exclusive items including Legendary skins, Apex Packs, new Battle Pass content making a Season 3 debut, and more,” reads Respawn’s vague Battle Pass breakdown on the game’s official EA page.

Here are all the items expected to be launched with the Season 3 Battle Pass and when Apex Legends fans can start playing.

When is the Apex Legends Season 3 Battle Pass release date?

Respawn announced that Season 3 will go live on October 1, but has yet to specify a time. However, looking back at past DLC releases can offer an idea of when the Apex Legends will be updated Tuesday.

Every previous update has been shipped at roughly 1 p.m. Eastern, which suggests this time won’t be any different, barring any unanticipated changes or hiccups. The Apex Legends and Respawn Twitter accounts will be the best places to check for any delays or news come Tuesday.

How much will the Apex Legends Season 3 Battle Pass cost?

Respawn has yet to reveal how much the upcoming Battle Pass will cost. But it should be priced similarly, if not identically, to the Seasons 1 and 2 Battle Passes.

Both DLC purchases cost 950 Apex Coins (roughly $9.50) for access to 25 levels of of rewards that need to be unlocked by playing through the season. Respawn has also offered a fully unlocked Battle Pass for 2,800 Apex Coins (roughly $28), which gives gamers access to all of the skins and rewards instantly.

These prices shouldn’t change much if Respawn includes a similar amount of content this time around. The cost might begin to fluctuate if an update has less or more content, but that likely won’t be the case this time.

What will come with the Apex Legends Season 3 Battle Pass?

There hasn’t been an official word on what will come with this season’s Battle Pass, but a September 10 leak has cast some light on what to expect.

Data miner @That1MiningGuy tweeted a screenshot of an alleged leaked game file that listed the names of several items and cosmetics. It’s important to note the image states that Season 3 would be called “Fire and Ice,” which turned out to be inaccurate. That means it’s possible the rest of this list might have some discrepancies with the final version of the update.

The leak revealed the following items will be included, but it’s unclear how many of each there will be:

  • New alternate skins for Octane and Caustic
  • Weapon skins for R301 (Legendary)
  • Weapon skins for Spitfire (Legendary)
  • Weapon skins for Alternator (Legendary)
  • Legendary Apex Pack
  • Epic Apex Pack
  • 2550 Crafting Metals

The file acquired by That1MiningGuy also seems to reveal details about the more expensive, unlocked bundle:

  • All 25 unlocked levels
  • Exclusive Legendary Spitfire skin
  • Exclusive skin for an unspecified character

Respawn already said the Battle Pass will come with “100 exclusive items,” so there will be a lot more included than the leak revealed. But gamers will have to wait until Tuesday to find out exactly what all those goodies are.

Apex Legends Season 3 will begin on October 1, 2019.
