'Fortnite' Season 10 Team Spirit Reboot Van Locations: Where to Find Them

Get ready to revive a teammate.

by Corey Plante

The latest mission set of premium battle pass challenges to hit Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X on Thursday focuses on team-building exercises like petting someone else’s pet or dousing them with Chug Splash. You know, normal friend stuff. The standard set of seven challenges are all really straightforward, and they require the use of the ping system Epic Games sort of copied from Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends. But the one challenges folks might need help with involves the use of Reboot Vans also added in Season 8, seemingly to copy yet another beloved Apex Legends feature.

Once players complete all seven of the initial Team Spirit challenges, they’ll unlock prestige versions. The final prestige challenge is to simply “reboot a teammate.”

Especially with all of the Rift Zones and radical map changes that have unfolded over the past few months, plenty of players might need a reminder about where they can find Reboot Vans. There’s a pretty even distribution across the map, so which van you use will be determined entirely by where your teammate dies and whether or not the van has already been used. (There’s a 2-minute cooldown period after a van’s been used.)

We’ve included a map here created with LootLake.Info, a handy resource that lets you create custom maps detailing the spawn locations of just about everything in Fortnite.

How do Reboot Vans even work?

As outlined in the original version 8.30 update patch notes when the feature debuted, the idea is that in Duos or Squads, any player that is completely eliminated (not just knocked down) will drop a Reboot Card. Their teammates can pick it up without using an inventory item slot and then any living teammate can activate it at any Reboot Van.

Things to consider: Cards remain on the ground for 90 seconds before disappearing. It takes 10 seconds of interaction with a Reboot Van to respawn an ally, and they come back to life with limited weapons and resources. Once activated, the Reboot Van will emit a clearly visible beacon that’ll let nearby enemies know exactly where you are, and don’t forget about that 2-minute cooldown period.

Like all of the other premium battle pass mission sets, Team Spirit will be available until the end of Season X, so players have almost a month to complete this challenge.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X should end on or around October 5, 2019.
