'Fortnite': Where to Search Between a Film Camera, Stone Head, and Big Rig
Another quick challenge — if you know where you're going.
by Corey PlanteA classic Fortnite: Battle Royale challenge format is back in Season X’s Week 5 Blockbuster challenges. Yes, it’s a “search between,” the single most mundane Fortnite task.
Week 5 began Thursday morning, and the latest mission set celebrates Season 4’s superhero theme with a few challenges that tie in. At first glance, “search between a basement film camera, a snowy stone head, and a flashy gold big rig” might not seem like it ties in, but the pseudo-story of Season 4 was that after the meteor crash, a production company began filming a superhero movie — hence the camera-based challenge that season.
To unlock this specific challenge, players will first have to complete at least two other challenges first. To keep it simple, here’s all seven Blockbuster challenges:
- Land in Dusty Depot, then visit the Meteor in a single match
- Harvest materials at the Block
- Land at a run down Hero Mansion and an abandoned Villain Hideout
- Deal damage while being affected by low gravity
- Search between a basement film camera, a snowy stone head and a flashy gold big rig
- Consume fruit, mushrooms, or glitched foraged items
- Claim vending machines in different matches
That “basement film camera” is the same one from Season 4. The snowy stone head is the one that Drift painted earlier this season. The flashy gold big rig is parked on the road just northeast of this location heading towards Tilted Town, right at the cusp of where the snow melts away into the regular grass.
But none of those details really matter if you know the precise location atop this snowy hill: Just look for the patch of dirt in the middle of all that white snow, and the battle star should materialize.
All of these Blockbuster challenges will be available until the end of Fortnite Season X.
Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X should end on or around October 5, 2019.
