Gamescom 2019: All the Live Streams and Announcements From the World's Largest Gaming Convention

Beginning Monday, the global gaming industry will converge in Cologne, Germany for the ninth annual Gamescom. The international video game conference is the largest of its kind, drawing 370,000 visitors and 1,037 exhibitors from 56 countries in 2018. And this year is expected to be no different.
Nintendo, Google Stadia, and Xbox will all be hosting blowout press conferences to tease the titles they have in store for the year to come. All of the major announcements will be live streamed on Monday, a day before the Gamescom 2019 show floor opens to attendees.
While it’s only been two months since the Los Angeles-base video game trade show E3 2019 took place, companies will surely have updates on anticipated title releases and hardware as the holiday seasons approach. Here’s how to tune into all of the Gamescom 2019 excitement:
Gamescom 2019: Nintendo Live Stream and Predictions
Nintendo kicked things off Monday morning at 9 a.m. Eastern with a massive announcement of 28 indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch. The Japanese company’s 20-minute “Indie World” stream showcased a massive roster of unique and whimsical titles gamers can explore on they hybrid console, but Nintendo has a lot more up its sleeve.
It’s exhibit will feature six AAA titles, five of which have yet to be released:
- Luigi’s Mansion 3 - October 31
- The Legend of Zelda: Links’ Awakening - September 20
- Astral Chain - August 30
- Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition - September 27
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - November 2019
- The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition - Out Now
Nintendo’s Indie World announcement can be watched on its YouTube channel, but its not anticipated to host any other streams for the remainder of Gamescom 2019.
Gamescom 2019: Xbox Live Stream and Predictions
Next up, Xbox Games will take the stage with a flurry of world-premier trailers and updates on some of its most hyped titles set for release this year and in 2020. The Inside Xbox live stream kicked off at 11 a.m. Eastern Monday and will be available on the Xbox YouTube channel afterward.
The showcase was focused around 8 unreleased titles and give gamers a closer look at their story, modes, and gameplay:

Gamescom 2019: Google Stadia Live Stream and Predictions
Google will keep things rolling with an update to its already impressive Stadia game roster. Its cloud-gaming service is set to launch in November and it’ll take Gamescom 2019 to get gamers even more riled about the AAA games they’ll be able to play without a console or PC.
The second Stadia Connect began at 1 p.m. Eastern and will be streamable on YouTube.
Google announcement will be pre-recorded, just like Nintendo Directs, so don’t anticipate any live tests of the gaming service. Instead the tech company is expected to build out its game roster with already released games or potentially announce some exclusive games to the platform.
Gamescom 2019: Opening Night Live Stream and Predictions
To end a packed day of conferences, games journalist Geoff Keighley will host Gamescom Opening Night Live starting at 2 p.m. Eastern. Much like E3 Coliseum company executives and developers will sit down with Keighley to discuss their announcements in more depth. But the showcase will also give publishers that didn’t host presentations a moment in the spotlight.
There hare six confirmed games will be featured in the live stream, these include:

Gamescom 2019: Where Is Sony’s Live Stream?
Sony won’t be hosting a livestream but it’ll have a show floor setup to highlight games coming to its PlayStation consoles. Gamers interested in hearing a discussion about the companies upcoming games will need to tune into the Gamescom Opening Night Live at 2 p.m. Eastern.
