'Fortnite' Season 10 Rift Locations: Where to Use a Rift for Worlds Collide

Five seasons later, rifts are still important.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X continues this week with a new batch of themed challenges as part of the “Worlds Collide” mission set that celebrates Season 5’s many rifts, and the very first challenge is to “use a rift.” You only have to do it once, and like the “Spray & Play” challenges, this mission lasts until the end of the season, so it should be easy to casually complete this as you play throughout the rest of the season. But for anyone who needs those locations right now, we’ve got you covered.

Rifts aren’t as plentiful as they once were on the Fortnite island, but they can still be found in some of the more prominent landmarks that involve distortions in space-time. For instance, the giant Durr Burger head that was teleported into the real world (sort of) and then plopped back into Fortnite on a random hill has a rift very close to it. Similar points of interest will also have a rift near them.

This map from LootLake.Info shows all of the known rift locations in *Fortnite*.

For many in-game spawn locations — like the rifts — LootLake.info is a great resource that allows you to create custom maps detailing the locations of whatever you need to find, like the above map showing all the known rifts.

Here’s a more precise description of each location:

  • East of Pleasant Park and south of the Block, just north of the Durr Burger head
  • Right in the center of Loot Lake
  • On the western side of the frozen island west and a little south of Happy Hamlet
  • Northeast of the frozen lake just east of Viking Village
  • Just north of Paradise Palms, near the horse-drawn cart

There’s no reason to believe that these locations will change during Season X — unless a new Rift Zone is created over one of these locations. For now, players should have an easy time completing this challenge.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X should end on or around October 5, 2019.
