Apple Cuts Prices of iPad Pro Models for Back to School

Apple’s really hoping students getting ready to go back to school are eyeing iPads, and it’s discounted a sizable portion of the iPad Pro lineup to make them all the more enticing. Discounts range anywhere from $50-200, depending on the model you choose. If you’ve been holding off on grabbing one of the gorgeous iPad Pro models, the time is nigh.

The most modest discount can be found with the most modest iPad Pro, the 64GB WiFi model, coming down a mere $50. Though others have claimed to have seen it discounted by $150, though that’s not reflected on the current Amazon listing. Further down the list is the 512GB WiFi 12.9 iPad Pro for $200 off, bringing the total down to $1150. The WiFi + Cellular variant is seeing a slightly smaller, $150 discount. At the time of this writing, of the 1TB models, only the 11-inch WiFi version is seeing a worthwhile, $250 discount.

There aren’t too many events left in the year until Black Friday that we can look forward to discounts like this, so you should act now if an iPad has been on your list for some time and you’re not looking to wait until November.

Of course, if you pay attention to the rumor mill, we may not have seen the last of the new iPad models for 2019 just yet, if the new iPad Air and iPad Mini didn’t do it for you. Still, the 2018 iPad Pros are still more than powerful enough, and are now getting a sort of rebirth with the introduction of the iOS fork, iPad OS that should be hitting devices later this year.
