'Fortnite' Clock Tower Locations Map: Where to Visit 3 Different Clocks

Careful, there's an active glitch on this one.

It’s time to focus on time in Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 8 by visiting several clocks on the map as part of a new challenge that unlocked Thursday morning. The challenge has players “visit different clocks.” Seems simple enough, right?

The Tilted Towers clock tower might immediately come to mind, but now that this destination has been transformed into Neo Tilted at the start of Season 9, things are different.

Here’s where players can visit clocks in Fortnite for the Week 8 challenge: Junk Junction, Neo Tilted, and Happy Hamlet each have a kind of clock. There’s also the surprising addition of the Sunny Steps sundial.

Updated note: Despite being the only traditional clock tower standing, the clock in Happy Hamlet doesn’t count towards this challenge. If this is a glitch, you should know that Epic Games gave the entire company a fortnight (that’s two weeks — ha ha ha) of vacation time off from June 24 to July 8, so this probably won’t be fixed until sometime after that.

UPDATE: Don't bother with Happy Hamlet right now. Instead, visit the sundial in Sunny Steps.

There’s no specific order that players have to visit these clocks in, but with the current glitch in Happy Hamlet, players are better off waiting on that destination and instead visit the other two first.

The Junk Junction clock is a clocktower being built in the southwest corner of the area, just inside the outer wall. Landing on or next to the tower should award the player with credit. If players are feeling ambitious, they could start by landing at this clock before heading directly east to the grasslands race track. From there, it’s possible to grab a quadcrasher or driftboard that can help them travel south.

Over in Neo Tilted, the holo-clock tower that’s a part of Fortbyte #2 and the Week 4 Utopia loading screen serves as a valid “clock,” even if it’s digital. Reaching the base of the tower should grant credit, but oftentimes, if enemy players destroy the actual tower and clock, it becomes impossible to get credit.

Happy Hamlet’s clock tower is right in the middle of the area, and it’s impossible to miss, as it’s the tallest building in the named location. However, as of this writing, landing on or near it doesn’t award credit for this challenge. So there’s probably some sort of glitch happening.

Instead, head over to the center of Sunny Steps, where the sundial counts as a clock that’ll get you to the end of this challenge.

According to the in-game countdown, Season 9 is scheduled to end on July 23, so there’s now less than a month left in the season before tons of changes happen that’ll lead us into Season 10.
