'Fortnite' Driftboard and Quadcrasher Locations: Map for Season 9, Week 3

They're all over, but here's the single best spot.

The very first challenge of Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 3, released Thursday morning, is all about vehicles — specifically Driftboards and Quadcrashers — and it comes in three stages.

  • Stage 1: Land a trick with a Driftboard
  • Stage 2: Get 3s of airtime in a Quadcrasher
  • Stage 3: Destroy opponent structures with a vehicle (3)

The third stage of this challenge is technically achievable using a Baller, but the Quadcrasher is a much better alternative for destroying enemy structures. Therefore, every stage of this challenge relies completely on the player finding a Driftboard and a Quadcrasher to use.

Both vehicles are spread out evenly across the map, but the Driftboard is easier to find in the icy southwestern corner of the map. Generally, you can find Quadcrashers at campsites, in garages, or more commonly on the back of trailers.

LootLake.info is a great resource for these types of challenges. Using the “Spawns” submenu, you can easily find the spawn locations of anything on the map. The map below shows all of the Driftboard and Quadcrasher locations listed by their mapping system.

This map from LootLake.info has all of the potential locations for both vehicles.

We found that the best way to complete this challenge, however, was to target the vehicle spawn points on the ridges just south of Neo Tilted or just northeast. The ridge to the south has two trailers, each with a Quadcrasher and at least one Driftboard.

Just like Tilted Towers before it, Neo Tilted gets a lot of foot traffic, so it’s a very dangerous place. Players will have to make sure they’re the first ones to reach the vehicles and be prepared to dodge gunfire. But that just makes it more fun, doesn’t it?

For the Driftboard portion of this challenge, simply boost off a nearby ridge and be careful not to bother with the Slipstream. Getting into it is easy with a Driftboard, but getting out is tremendously difficult — so you won’t even be able to land a trick if you do one.

As for the Quadcrasher portion of this challenge, simply build a ramp off the highest cliff you can find and boost off it. Three seconds of airtime is easily achievable.

Destroying enemy structures might take a little bit more time, but we suggest just cruising around until you find uninhabited structures to destroy using the Quadcrasher plow.

Follow all of those instructions, and squaring away this three-stage challenge should be easy.

Fortnite Season 9 won’t end until July 23, according to the in-game countdown, so players have plenty of time to make progress at each of these stages as the season progresses.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 4 should begin Thursday, May 30.
