How Will 'Avengers: Endgame' End? Behold, Our Own String Theories
It's time loops all the way down.
There’s no shortage of theories about how the 10-year Avengers saga — spanning a grand total of 22 movies — will end. From time travel to alternate realities to shape-shifting, intergalactic super-beings, there are a lot a lot of clues for hyper-observant fans to sift through if they want to figure out how Avengers: Endgame can undo Thanos’ Decimation and bring all our favorite heroes back to life.
In that spirit, Inverse is exploring its own theories for Avengers: Endgame before the movie opens on April 26, 2019. Positing a few crazy, out-there theories is part of the fun of being a fan, and the speculation below is just that — although if you really think about it, some of these theories do kinda make sense.
