'Fortnite' Snowflake Locations Map: Where to Destroy 12 of Them

Use our guide to solve the location-based challenge.

by Jake Kleinman

The “14 Days of Fortnite” are almost over, but it’s not too late to earn some extra holiday swag in Fortnite: Battle Royale. A recent challenge has you destroy 12 snowflakes across the map, which might sound like a lot but shouldn’t be too difficult to pull off. Here’s everything you need to know to complete the snowflake-themed Fortnite challenge, including locations, a guide, a map, and a video (above, courtesy of YouTube user Sparckman) to help you get the job done.

You can find large hanging snowflake decorations in many of the major named locations in Fortnite. That includes Tilted Towers, Please Park, Lazy Links, Lonely Lodge, Retail Row, Salty Springs, Fatal Fields, Paradise Palms, and Happy Hamlet. This list isn’t definitive, and you may find snowflakes elsewhere, but it should give you enough options to make short work of the challenge.

If you need a visual guide, here’s a map, with each location circled and a big snowflake just above it:

Once you reach a location, look up and around for snowflakes. They should be hanging from telephone poles, bridges, and anywhere else a decoration could be placed. You can destroy them using your axe or with a gun, depending on how close they are to the ground.

One good strategy is to start at Lonely Lodge and then head Southwest through Retail Row to Salty Springs (or the opposite, depending on the direction the bus takes). That should provide you with plenty of opportunities to destroy snowflakes.

Once you complete this challenge you’ll unlock a special snowflake Emoticon. Just remember to destroy those snowflakes quickly. You only have until the end of 14 Days of Fortnite to do it, and with day 14 on New Year’s day rapidly approaching, that doesn’t leave much time.
