'Fortnite' Season 7 Battle Pass: Wraps (Gun Skins), Skins (Ice King), Pets
Plus so much more.
by Jake KleinmanFortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 is here and that means a brand new Battle Pass with over 100 new cosmetic items to unlock. But is it worth the price? Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass before making your decision.
First off, the Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks (roughly $10), though if you hustled last season you should have more than enough in-game currency stored up to cover it. There’s also a Battle Pass Bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks that unlocks a bunch of tiers and the associated cosmetics automatically.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Skins
Buying the Battle Pass will automatically unlock two new skins: Lynx (a Black Panther-inspired female skin) and Zenith (a winter-ready explorer). Both of these outfits are progressive, meaning they’ll start pretty simple but get more complicated and cooler as you keep playing.
Purchasing the Battle Pass Bundle will also get you Sergeant Winter, a sort of militaristic Santa Claus. Other new skins include Powder (Tier 47) with a winter sports design, a yeti-like creature named Trog (Tier 71), the onesie-wearing Onesie (Tier 87), and legendary outfit the Ice King (Tier 100).
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Pets
There are two new types of pets coming to the game this season: Hamirez the hamster and Remus the dog. Hamirez comes in a few different variants with a cute little hamster wheel. Remus appears to be some sort of husky breed, and one of his variants is an icy snow dog.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Gliders
As always, a new season of Fortnite means new gliders. The most seasonal of the bunch is Santa’s sleigh. There’s also a simple wooden glider that’s part of the Yeti-themed cosmetics set.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Contrails
There are a few new cosmetics that alter the trails shooting out of you as you dive down towards the island. New contrails include blue flames.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Toys
There are new toys too. The most exciting of the bunch is probably the hockey puck, which is sure to play a part in some upcoming hock-themed challenges. There’s also a new toy that lets you throw a small Durr Burger head.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass Wraps
Finally, Wraps are the new thing for Fortnite Season 7, at least when it comes to cosmetics. These are basically skins for weapons and vehicles that you can use to further customize your look. They don’t affect gameplay, but they’re still pretty cool.
