'Red Dead Redemption 2' Fence Locations: Use This Map to Find Them All

Here are four spots to go if you're short on cash,

In the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, there are a few different ways to turn the loot you acquire into cash. Sure you could head to the general store, but why not just fence that loot instead?

In Red Dead Redemption 2 Fences are unsavory traders hidden in specific locations, often in a shack or some unassuming storefront. Once you find one you can sell all your ill-gotten goods and also buy various specialty items, including weapons, explosives, masks, and new crafting recipes. It’s also the best place to get a lock breaker, an indispensable item that does pretty much exactly what its name implies.

VG247 has a detailed guide to four difference Fence locations in Red Dead Redemption 2, which are all located on the Eastern side of the map. Here’s a quick rundown of where to each one, and a map that shows their general locations in the game.

  • Fence number one is located close to Emerald Ranch, and you’ll learn about it during Chapter 2 as part of the “Pouring Fourth Oil” mission. It’s also worth noting that this is the only fence where you can sell stolen wagons.
  • Fence number two is located on the docks of the Van Horn Trading Post, which you’ll find on the Eastern coast of the map.
  • Our third fence is located further South near Rhodes. Head Northeast from that town and you’ll find it soon.
  • Finally, fence number four is locked right in the middle of Saint Denis (Red Dead Redemption 2’s version of New Orleans). You’ll find it on the East side of the city, and it’s a good place to go if you’re looking to unload some gold bars.

Here’s that map, which we borrowed from PowerPyx.com and annotated with fence locations:
