'Fortnite': Where to Search Between an Oasis, Rock Archway, and Dinosaurs

The easiest yet most rewarding Challenge type in Fortnite: Battle Royale is back for Season 5, Week 2 so get ready to frantically struggle to find a Battle Star while getting hacked to death by enemy pickaxes.

Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Week 2 should’ve kicked off at 4 a.m. Eastern with the weekly reset, but some kind of issues delayed that transition to sometime around 9:30 a.m. Eastern. Regardless, like every other even-numbered week, there’s a new Challenge that compels players to search between three recognizable landmarks for a shiny, golden Battle Star token.

So where do players go to “Search between an oasis, rock archway, and dinosaurs” in Week 2 of Fortnite?

The general area for this one should be fairly obvious: Paradise Palms in the southeast section of the map. There’s an oasis in the southwest of the desert area close to the grass edge, a huge rock archway almost directly east of that, and several dinosaur statues on the side of the road southeast of that.

Here’s a map triangulating those three positions:

Players will want to aim for the mountaintop near the road that has an RV camper on the top with a small campsite. Because of the aforementioned delays, the precise location isn’t determined just yet, but given past instances of this kind of Challenge, we can safely predict a few things.

The exact spot players should look for is probably located right next to the camper. If it’s not on that relatively small plateau, then it’s probably on a slightly lower edge directly northeast on that same mountain. If all else fails, just scurry around in the vicinity of these spots or, if players pursue this immediately, just follow the many other players that’ll be diving in the hopes of finding this Battle Star.

For what it’s worth, if somebody does survive after picking up this token, then they do have the option of heading northeast towards the basketball hoop that’s in Paradise Palms proper to work towards the “score a basket on different hoops” Challenge. Yet another Challenge in Week 2 requires players to get eliminations in Paradise Palms anyway, so everyone might as well multitask.

Season 5 won’t end until around September 27, so players have plenty of time to complete this Challenge should they choose to neglect it for now.
