'Fortnite' Poster Locations Map: Where to Spray Over Carbide and Omega
Plus a few strategic routes to take.
by Corey PlanteOne of the newest Challenges to hit Fortnite: Battle Royale in Week 6 has players running around the island to create graffiti. Specifically, players have to “Spray over different Carbide or Omega Posters.” Like many Challenges similar to this, you have to do a specific number — which is seven in this case — but you can find way more than seven across the map.
Week 6 kicked off on Thursday morning at 4 a.m. Eastern, and this new Challenge comes in addition to other more typical tasks, like the one that has players search between a Playground, Campsite, and Footprint. Think of this as remarkably similar to the Challenge several weeks ago that asks you to dance in front of different cameras. You have to go to a specific kind of new location and perform a certain type of emote. Sounds simple, as long as you know where you’re going.
Here’s a map that shows many of the available posters, broken down by which hero they depict:
Based off of our map, the best strategy is probably starting at the top of that western peak, working your way southeast to Greasy Grove, and then northeast to the southeastern outer corner of Tilted Towers. The poster east of Retail Row could make for another great starting point as you push northwest in a straight line.
It doesn’t matter whether you focus on Carbide or Omega. Either one will do just fine in terms of completing the Challenge, and some players claim that there are even more posters out there featuring one or the other.
In Season 4’s superhero-themed “story” that’s largely implied through skins and loading screens, Omega is a supervillain and Carbide is one of the superheroes that seemingly fights against him in direct conflict with one another.
Fortnite added sprays to the game with the onset of Season 4, and you can equip them in your library of Emotes in the Locker menu. There, you’ll find your dance emotes, stickers, and sprays. You can recognize the sprays because they have a grey brick wall as part of their backdrop. It doesn’t matter which one you use, but be sure to equip at least one before starting a match for this Challenge.
Like all new challenges, this one will be active until Season 4 ends on or around July 9, so you’ll have plenty of time to complete the task between now and then. But for now, be sure to equip a Spray and use it if you stumble upon any of these posters.
