Memorial Day typically consists of certain activities. Many will pay their respects to members of the military, others will spend the day at the beach, and some will head to the theater to watch a blockbuster movie such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, Avengers: Infinity War, or Deadpool 2. Other people will go shopping at a store, or online, to take advantage of the Memorial Day sales.
If you’re in the market for a new TV, laptop, or some other tech, this weekend is a good time to go nuts. Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon all have deals for Memorial Day weekend that will save a nice chunk of change. Here are some of the best deals for the weekend.
Acer Gaming Laptop
For those who want to play Fortnite on the go, but don’t want to play on their iPhones, a gaming laptop can solve that problem. The Acer Nitro 5 at $599 is $200 less than regular price, but most importantly, it has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. It’s a good amount of graphics power in an affordable, portable package.
LG Blu-ray Player
If you insist on sticking with physical media then you may want to consider this Blu-ray player from LG. It’s regularly priced at Best Buy for $199, but it’s on sale during Memorial Day weekend for $79.
Samsung TVs
Arguably the best TV brand in regards to quality and affordability is Samsung. At Walmart, a 55” 4K Smart TV is $497 while a 65” 4K Smart TV is $799 at Best Buy.
Apple Stuff
Parents could save some money on Apple products for their young graduates or be ready for the fall. If those don’t apply then they can get one for themselves. At Best Buy, save $300 on a 21.5” iMac. For Macbooks Pros, the 13” display model with 256GB flash storage $1449, a $350 savings. iPads Pros are also on sale starting at $549, which is $100 less than the regular price.
Amazon Echos
If you don’t mind a device listening to every word you say around it then buy an Amazon Echo. The Alexa device is $85 or get the smaller Echo Dot for $40.
