'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Streaming: Here's When It Comes to Hulu
Finally, you'll soon be able to rewatch Season 3.
by Corey PlanteFresh off the DVD and Blu-ray release for Rick and Morty Season 3 on May 15, we finally know exactly when the latest season will be available to stream on Hulu. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait much longer at all.
On Wednesday, Decider received confirmation straight from Hulu that Rick and Morty Season 3 would be available to stream on the platform starting Saturday, June 23. For fans in the U.S. at least, Hulu has long been the only place you could view the first two seasons.
For fans that don’t have access to Hulu, you can watch Episodes 2 through 6 of Season 3 for free over on Adult Swim’s website right now, but you can also watch Episodes 8 through 10 if you log in using a cable subscription. Who knows how long that will be the case.
Missing from Adult Swim’s website is the Season 3 premiere that surprise-aired on April 1 of 2017, along with Seasons 1 and 2. So unless you’re willing to buy the DVDs or Blu-rays for all three seasons, Hulu might soon be the best and only place to watch Rick and Morty.
All this is pretty exciting news considering the recent announcement that Adult Swim picked up Rick and Morty for an additional 70-episode order. As great — or bad — as an endless future full of new Rick and Morty might sound, the harsh truth is that we’re in store for a very long wait until Season 4.
Season 3 saw some pretty extreme delays that drove fans crazy, and that season was actively greenlit shortly after the successful Season 2 premiere in 2015. Consider that Season 4 was only just ordered almost a half-year after Season 3 finished airing. Endlessly rewatching the first three seasons on Hulu might be the only solace fans have for the foreseeable future, because it’s far more likely that we’ll see the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War and the Game of Thrones series finale before we get another episode of Rick and Morty.
