While we have known for sometime Owen Grady and Claire Dearing were coming back together for another dinosaur-filled adventure, we did not have many details about the Jurassic World sequel. In the final trailer, more of the plot is revealed. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is giving us betrayal, manipulation, and militarized dinosaurs.
On Wednesday, a new trailer for the upcoming Jurassic Park sequel was released and we got a look at who our heroes will be up against. While getting screwed over by some douchebag humans may piss them off, Owen and Claire should much more concerned about the dinosaurs those dicks have engineered for their own purposes.
It turns out the mission Claire brings Owen by to Isla Nublar for is to get his dino pal Blue in order to save her species. The big problem is that the people who hire them both are liars and take the raptor for experimentation. And, it seems that experimentation results in the above-mentioned militarized dinosaurs.
In addition to plot details, the new trailers amps up the humor. Specifically some funny moments between leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. It begins with a funny exchange while in a container with a knocked out dinosaur and ends with Owen jokingly blaming Claire for his potential impending death. It seems there’s always time for funny.
It seems fans should look at this trailer, and the old footage, because “final trailer” means we may not get lots of new information before the film premieres on June 22, 2018.
As the returning Dr. Malcolm says, “those creatures were here before us and if we’re not careful they’re going to be here after us.” So militarized dinosaurs may not have been the best idea, huh?
