A 'Game of Thrones' Star Is Reviewing Sausage, Season 8 Still a Year Away

The final season of Game of Thrones is still a long ways away, but fans of HBO’s hit series still have a craving for all things Westeros. Well, why not satisfy that desire by reading about Sansa Stark’s sausage cravings?

You’re probably thinking “but I thought Sansa was more of a lemon cakes kind of girl.” You’re right, but Sophie Turner, who plays the eldest Stark daughter, has launched an Instagram account devoted to reviewing sausage. The account, Sophie’s Sausage Reviews, posted its first picture on Wednesday. The link in question, a classic Cumberland she ate in London, received a rating of 7 out of 10.

“Juicy on the bite. Skin not too tough. Around the size of my middle finger: perfect,” the description reads. “However I might have liked the skin to be a little crispier.”

The other two entries thus far, turkey sausage and some sausage sauce/gravy, both enjoyed in Los Angeles, received ratings of 8 and 4, respectively.

Popsugar reports that Turner’s main, verified Instagram account included a screenshot of the sausage account in her Instagram story and encouraged fans to follow it. So, that appears to be confirmation that, yes, this actually is Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner’s sausage thoughts, and not just some rando Sophie whose sausage opinions are meaningless.

This is not the first time that sausage has been associated with Game of Thrones. In Season 3, after Ramsay cut off Theon’s penis as part of his sadistic torture, he taunted his captive by eating “pork sausage” in front of him. One wonders what score Ramsay’s pork sausage would have received had Sophie’s Sausage Reviews given it a taste.

Game of Thrones Season 8 doesn’t premiere until April 2019, probably, so, it’s going to be a lot of stories like this for the next year. Prepare yourselves.
