Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City continue their pursuit of an English quadruple in Week 25 of the Premier League season, when they host Alan Pardew’s West Bromich Albion at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

A hive mind of Premier League fans predicts City will gave a easy time of it this week, too. Oasis favorites will win by two goals, potentially extending their twelve point lead on second-place side Manchester United if they manage to lose against Spurs this week.

To predict the result of this and other matches, Unanimous A.I. used what’s known as “swarm intelligence” to forecast the week’s fixtures. Thirty-five Premier League fans worked together as a hive mind to make picks.

The swarm feels very good about City's chances vs. West Brom.

Each participant controlled a little golden magnet and used it to drag the puck toward the answer they thought was the most likely outcome. In these exercises, when a user sees the puck move toward a particular outcome, it triggers a psychological response. The user readjusts their decision-making, and the group builds toward a consensus.

Here’s Unanimous A.I. founder Louis Rosenberg explaining swarm intelligence at a recent TEDx Talk:

Unanimous A.I. has made some scarily accurate predictions in the past using swarm intelligence, as our previous article explains. For instance, the swarm went a perfect 7-0 already this season in the English Premier League.

Man City vs. West Brom kicks off at 3 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday.
