'Infinity War' Trailer Rumored to Premiere Before 'The Last Jedi' Does
The Justice League of the may be enjoying their moment in theaters right now, but Thanos and the war for the Infinity Stones are on the horizon. If a new rumor is anything to go by, fans won’t have to wait much longer to finally see the long-awaited trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.
On Friday morning, Furious Fanboys editor Jeremy Conrad (@ManaByte) ignited the fanboy world when he revealed that “sources” indicate that the Avengers: Infinity War trailer is scheduled for early December, between December 1 and December 8. Conrad also says that the Infinity War trailer, as well as the Jurassic World sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will play in theaters with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, though both trailers will debut online before the Last Jedi premiere.
“I’ve heard from multiple people about an Infinity War teaser in early December,” Conrad wrote on his Twitter feed on Friday. “There’s a date being spread and I wouldn’t commit to that exact date as that’s hard to peg 100%. But it will likely be between the 1st and the 8th.”
He added in a later tweet: “If everything plays out like it sounds like it is, we’re probably going to see teasers for both Jurassic World 2 and Infinity War in theaters with The Last Jedi (and online a week or two before).”
Anticipation to see anything with Avengers: Infinity War is at an all-time high, especially after the footage that was leaked from San Diego Comic-Con in July.
Marvel Studios has mysteriously kept Infinity War close to the chest. While Infinity War is guaranteed to be one of the biggest movies of 2018, if not the biggest, the film division of the House of Ideas has curiously kept Infinity War under wraps. In a somewhat dated notion of how information spreads in 2017, Marvel asked fans, who are all armed with cameras, not to film the teaser that screened at Comic-Con International. It went about as well as one could expect.
Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters on May 4, 2018.
