The new Last Jedi trailer has fans understandably excited, but before that blockbuster opens up in theaters this December, another part of the Star Wars saga will continue in epic fashion on TV. The fourth and final season of Star Wars rebels kicks off on Monday, and Lucasfilm has shared a 3-minute video that recaps the entire series and gets the blood flowing for the upcoming premiere.
Lucasfilm calls the video a “recap” of Seasons 1-3, but if you’re looking to go into Season 4 blind, without having seen the show before, the video won’t come close to filling in all the blanks. If you watched the show and just need a little refresher, though, the clip is darn-near perfect, hitting all the highs and teasing the thrilling battles and big-screen guest stars from seasons past.
Highlights include Ahsoka Tano’s duel with Darth Vader, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s final showdown, and Ezra’s change in hairstyle.
Season 4, which will air five times on Monday, October 16 on Disney XD and the DisneyNow App, sees the Ezra and Kanan joining Sabine’s mission to rescue her father from the Empire and make a difficult choice regarding an ancient, destructive weapon. The first showing is at 12:30 a.m.
