'Star Wars' Clone Trooper Captain Rex Is Robbing People IRL

Order 66 seems to have changed a little bit. A Clone Trooper — or, rather, a man wearing a Clone Trooper mask — was caught on security tape robbing a donut store in Belmont, California.

What Happened

On Monday, an unknown man wearing a Captain Rex mask entered Chuck’s Donuts in Belmont at 4:40 a.m., according to a report by the Belmont Police Department. The man pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded she hand over the cash from the register. She complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the scene.

Luckily, no one was harmed.

What it Means

Nothing, other than the fact that locals need to be on the lookout for a man who just so happened to have a Captain Rex mask lying around and used it to rob a donut shop.

What’s Next

The Belmont Police Department is on the search for a “6-foot tall ‘husky’ male with medium complexion.” At the scene of the crime, the man was wearing a blue baseball cap with “Cal” on the front, a green sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white Vans sneakers.
