Last weekend, my flight to New York from Kansas City was cancelled due to weather and I couldn’t get a flight back until Tuesday night. It was kind of a raw deal until I learned that Chipotle would be testing a new product in the KC market only. With a Chipotle obsession that borders on “pathological,” I headed to a new Chipotle outlet in my hometown that was serving the new meat selection — chorizo. The rest that follows is history.
