Nerds have descended upon San Diego for Comic-Con this weekend, and all the exclusive goodies and giveaways are going out fast. One of them, an exclusive poster for Avengers: Infinity War which was being distributed at the Marvel booth, contained something extra special: A solid look at Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in his fancy new costume Tony Stark made for him at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The poster, which was designed by concept artist Ryan Meinerding, predominantly features the following MCU heroes: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Mantis (Pom Klementeiff), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). And, of course, there’s Spidey, swinging high in his new black, red, and gold-trimmed Stark-made costume.
The lucky fans who attended D23 earlier this month saw a preview of Infinity War, which featured Spider-Man in that same outfit. That was proof enough that Spidey would wear his new duds in the film, but now that it’s part of the promotional material it seems like it will be his actual suit for the entire movie.
At the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Stark offered his pal Spidey a new costume as a reward for passing Stark’s abstract “tests” in becoming a hero. The suit looks partially inspired by the Superior Spider-Man and the Civil War “Iron Spider” suits, but it is altogether something unique.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.
