You'll Buy Whatever Vengeful Father Liam Neeson Tells You to Buy
The action star is the best pitchman
Liam Neeson is the most trusted celebrity endorser, according to the very special set of skills used by the Nielsen company.
Nielsen released their "N-Scores" this past Tuesday, a report on the effectiveness of celebrity endorsements from January to March of this year. Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan both had an N-Score of 94. Neeson still managed to sell more things.
If the report is to be believed, then Nielsen is reporting people actually bought Clash of Clans because America’s most intimidating dad told them to.
But maybe they should consider Liam Neeson was selling a silly mobile app video game and not an entire car.
This first N-Score is Nielsen's direct competitor to Marketing Evaluations Inc.'s similar, more well-known Q-Scores. Both measure celebrity likabilities, public awareness, influence, and "other factors." And both commandeer a letter of the alphabet, very gradually strangling out the market for potential competitors.
Other celebrities that scored high on the N-Scores were Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Garner, Natalie Portman (because ROLE MODEL), Jim Parsons, and J.K. Simmons, bum-buh-dum-bum-bum-bum-bum.
