Newt Will Hang Out in a Magical Circus in 'Fantastic Beasts 2'

Hot on the trail of the dark wizard Grindelwald, Newt Scamander will find himself among even more fantastic beasts in next Harry Potter universe cinematic installment. The action of the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to will take place at least partially in a magical circus.

On Monday, Deadline Hollywood reported on plot details from the new installment in J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world. All the cast of the previous Fantastic Beasts film will return and will be joint but will be joined by Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Callum Turner will play Newt’s brother Theseus Scamander, Zoë Kravitz will play Leta Lestrange, and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will play Skender who runs the magical circus.

Ezra Miller will also return as the mysterious Credence Barebone, who some fans believe is connected to Snape.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel remains untitled but is scheduled for release on November 18, 2018.
