Chris Hemsworth Is Still Salty Thor Missed ‘Civil War’
It’s been more than a year since the Marvel Cinematic Universe saw the world’s most epic HR dispute in Captain America: Civil War. But not everyone took part in the fray: the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the Mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) were absent, but their exploits during that time will be explored this November in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok.
But, Chris Hemsworth is still not feeling cool for being sidelined. In a hilarious new Instagram video on the actor’s official page, Hemsworth stumbles upon a supposed production rehearsal for next year’s Avengers: Infinity War — with action figures as stand-ins for the film’s two dozen characters — only to find Thor is, once again, left out. “Interesting there is no Thor toy in here,” Hemsworth says to somebody offscreen. “Is that on purpose?”
Someone offscreen answers him, saying he’ll have to talk to the directors Joe and Anthony Russo, to which Hemsworth fires back: “Yeah, heard that one before, for Civil War.” That’s when Hemsworth summons his mighty hammer, Mjolnir, and begins smashing some of the figures away, like flies to a flyswatter. Someone’s cranky!
For the extra nerdy, the action figures on the table essentially confirms characters fans already know or suspect will be in Infinity War. Aside from the obvious, like Captain America, Iron Man, and Spider-Man, other toys include Star-Lord, Vision, the Falcon, Hawkeye, Black Widow, War Machine, Black Panther, and Ant-Man. And no Thor, which drew Hemsworth’s ire (although he did take Hulk with him, because they’re buds now).

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on May 4, 2018.
