Here's How to Stream the First 'Thor' Movie Online
There's more than one option.
Those of you sitting around and waiting impatiently for Thor: Ragnarok might feel the need to refresh your memory. Thor, the film that kicked off the more mystical side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, came out in 2011, and that was a while ago. A lot has happened since then. So, in order to watch it, it makes sense that you’d turn to Netflix. We’re sorry to inform you it’s a lost cause.
Thor is not streaming on Netflix. In fact, the only MCU film currently available to stream on Netflix is Captain America: Civil War, the only Avengers-centric movie Thor doesn’t appear in. You can rent or buy Thor on Amazon, as it’s currently the only streaming service to provide Thor to the public — but you gotta pay for it.
So, no matter how excited you are to finally see Thor, Loki, Sif, and the gang, and meet Cate Blanchett’s Hela and Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster in Ragnarok, you’re going to have to find … another way to watch the first Thor. Not that anyone’s encouraging this, but if you type “watch Thor online free,” some interesting things will come up.
Thor: Ragnarok premieres in theaters November 3.
