Watch the Alien Day Live Stream With New 'Covenant' Reveals Here

by James Grebey

April 26 is Alien Day, so named because Aliens, Ridley Scott’s sequel to the original horror classic, took place on a moon called LV-426. Thursday marks the second day that Fox, the studio behind the Alien franchise, has celebrated the occasion, and with the release of Alien: Covenant coming up in just a few weeks, there’s a lot to be excited about. Here’s how you can stream the day’s main event and what to expect what you’re watching.

While there are other new releases (including an Alien VR experience) and events on Alien Day, the big shebang is taking place in Los Angeles at Fox’s studios. There, members of the Alien: Covenant cast with gather for a Q&A which will almost surely result in some juicy new gossip about the Prometheus sequel. The event also promises “exclusive content reveals” which most likely means there will be new footage, though that’s not certain. There’s also going to be a “xenomorph digital art battle” which could either be really cool or really lame. We’ll see.

You can catch the event right here, since Fox is streaming it live. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Alien: Covenant hits theaters next month, as it’s set for a May 19, 2017 release date.
