There's Finally a Full 'Justice League' Trailer, but Still No Superman
Since the news first broke that Zack Snyder was making a Justice League movie, fans grasped at any scrap of evidence and hungrily awaited the full trailer. On Saturday, it finally arrived, and it’s just as pulse-pounding as expected. In the week leading up to the full teaser trailer, Warner Brothers released a teaser for each character that makes up the new film. Cyborg, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash all represented their own moments, but Superman was conspicuously absent.
In the full teaser trailer, this is still the case. Nary a scrap of red cape to be seen. This is probably setting the stage for a big reveal, possibly in a yet-to-be-released trailer. It’s also possible that fans will have to wait to find out what happens with Superman until the film actually premieres.
Following the Man of Steel’s demise in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Snyder promised that Superman would play a big role in Justice League. Fans suspect that the upcoming film will incorporate the plot of The Death of Superman comic, black suit and all.
And while Superman isn’t in the new trailer, there’s still plenty of badassery to go around with Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Cyborg, and The Flash each showing off their skills.
Justice League arrives in theaters November 17, 2017.
