On Saturday, Ryan Reynolds released the full version of the Deadpool 2 teaser trailer that plays before Logan. Well, it plays before Logan in some theaters. The teaser features Wade Wilson fumbling in a phone booth for well over a minute while he fails to stop a crime in progress. It also includes a whole bunch of Easter eggs and the obligatory Stan Lee cameo.
Apparently, that cameo didn’t make it into the version of the teaser that comes before Logan, though. On Saturday, Lee took to Twitter to publicly thank Reynolds for releasing the full version of the teaser that includes his moment.
Moviegoers might not even notice that Lee is absent from Logan. Lee notices though. If we remember, he blamed the absence of a Stan Lee cameo for the fact that 2015’s Fantastic Four reboot flopped. So even though Lee may be worried that Logan is doing so well without him, he sure seems grateful that Reynolds gave him his due with the Deadpool 2 teaser.
