Google Map Users Are Reviewing Doctor Strange's IRL Magic Lab

Visitors have been leaving Google reviews after visiting Doctor Strange’s New York headquarters, the Sanctum Sanctorum, and they’ve been mostly positive. That’s a great customer service rating for a place that doesn’t actually exist.

If you type in the address 177A Bleeker Street, New York, New York on Google Maps, the site will lead you to the fun little Doctor Strange Easter Egg.

Located in New York City’s Greenwich Village, the Sanctum Sanctorum is Doctor Strange’s main base where he lives, studies the mystic arts, and where he temporarily hosted the New Avengers when they needed a new headquarters.

In reality, it’s a reference to where Marvel’s first co-Editors-in-Chief Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich shared an apartment, although there are reports that there is also a grocery story currently located there. Either way, Marvel fans can go to their Google Maps app, or webpage, right now and access the location page for the Sanctum Sanctorum, complete with images, a street view, and a place to leave user reviews.

“I took my roommate Phil to see the good Doctor because he had come down with a case of Vampirism,” writes Erik. “Had to swing by this place after I bought a carpet off of [Craigslist] that purred whenever walked on and whispered some odd language,” commented Jocelynne on her five-star review.

Doctor Strange himself, fully cloaked, came and tucked me in — couldn’t believe my luck,” wrote Tor who somehow managed to book the Sanctum Sanctorum as a bed and breakfast apparently.

Either way, people seem to be having a really nice time at the Sanctum, and you can try it out now and leave a review of your stay too.

Doctor Strange releases in theaters November 4, 2016.
