Watch Squirrel Girl Lay the Smackdown On Every Marvel Hero

First, the Marvel Universe was killed by Deadpool. Now it’s about to get a beating from The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

Marvel released a full-length graphic novel starring everyone’s favorite Squirrel-themed superhero as she goes on a universe-wide rampage, showcasing her dominance. Okay, well to be fair it’s her evil clone, but the rampage she goes on is very real.

Author Ryan North and artist Erica Henderson take their Eisner-nominated series to new heights in this brand new standalone adventure in which Squirrel Girl must take on her own clone who wants to beat up the Marvel Universe. She’s basically fighting the only hero who beat down Galactus, Thanos, and Doctor Doom (twice).

The graphic novel is a perfect entry point for fans who’ve always heard about the most powerful Marvel superhero, but never actually believed Squirrel Girl was real. The original team handling her current comic book series is behind the novel, so you know it’s true to the source.

If you’re still unsure if you want to see a Squirrel superhero beat up your favorite Marvel heroes, here’s a preview of the first five pages of the book.

Plan B is not Plan A for a reason. However, it’s probably no match for Squirrel Girl’s undefined super strength.

Basically, the real tragedy is how there isn’t still yet a Squirrel Girl movie or TV series. Plenty of talented actresses have come forward expressing interest in the part, so clearly Marvel is just biding time until they can give a potential adaptation the full treatment it deserves.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe is available now at bookstores, comic book shops, and digital retailers.
