Get ready to return to Gotham. The third episode of the episodic Batman: The Telltale Series from, who else, Telltale Games, is coming October 25 and will be titled “New World Order.”
On the official Telltale Games website, the company teases more Catwoman, Penguin, and the beginning of Two-Face in Episode 3 which follows the Penguin’s attack on live TV. “As Bruce and Batman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham,” Telltale says. “Meanwhile, behind closed doors, the mysterious Selina Kyle reveals more of herself to Bruce. And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce’s friend and Gotham’s new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man.”
Telltale further teases Dent’s appearance. “Who can be trusted when the future of Bruce Wayne — and the Batman — could be determined by the flip of a coin?”
Unlike other games, Telltale’s games specialize in episodic storytelling with branching decisions that effect the story. Its previous games The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones have won critical acclaim, and now Telltale has been taking on the Dark Knight of DC Comics. In Batman: The Telltale Series, a relatively younger Batman navigates Gotham’s elite and criminal networks while encountering enemies like Catwoman and the Penguin for the first time.
Episodes 1 and 2 of Batman: The Telltale Series are available now on consoles and PC.
