DC's 'Legends of Tomorrow' Will Fight Confederate Zombies

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow trailer just dropped online, and it looks like the second season of the CW show will be even more jam-packed than the first. The trailer reveals the Legends’ first meeting with one member of the Justice Society of America, Rex Tyler, aka Hourman, as he crash lands into 2016.

The footage stresses some of the developments that we saw in the teaser, such as Saras run-in with the queen of France and the kidnapping of Albert Einstein. However, the new trailer is filled with so much more, highlighting some of the many time periods and places that the Legends will visit, including, but not limited to, the Old West, Marie Antoinette-era France, and feudal Japan.

Fans are excitedly anticipating a large crossover featuring all of the CW DC superheroes, which will be necessary since the Legends are about to battle the Legion of Doom, a team of villains that will undoubtedly give the team a very difficult time. After all, they had such issues defeating Vandal Savage in Season 1. In any case, the CW has built a lot of hype for their fall season of DC Universe shows, which will ultimately culminate in the crossover event with all the shows in December. The impact that the Justice Society of America will have on the DC Universe has yet to be seen, but it’s exciting that they’ll be able to incorporate a host of villains and enemies from each universe.

Lastly, and probably most importantly, the trailer depicts the team fighting off Confederate zombies in a scene that looks ripped straight out of Call of Duty. So expect some zombie action at some point this season. Let’s hope they keep a mystery box nearby.

Check out Season 2 of DCs Legends of Tomorrow when it premieres Thursday, October 13 on the CW.
