The new Rogue One trailer just debuted during the Olympics. Watch it right now below.

When the original teaser for Rogue One appeared in April, it was the first distinct look at the standalone Star Wars movie and Disney’s broader plans for the beloved saga. The teaser was gritty, mysterious, totally badass, but completely recognizable because of all the pre-A New Hope iconography that director Gareth Edwards weaved into his tale – about the Rebel Alliance stealing the plans for the original Death Star. But all wasn’t well, or so it seemed.

The movie went through a much-publicized set of reshoots that reports said were because Disney wasn’t impressed by Edwards’s first cut. But how could that totally awesome trailer we saw be representative of a movie deemed unworthy? As they say, assumptions make an ass out of you and me, and Edwards and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy assured fans that the reshoots were a completely normal part of the nips and tucks needed to make Rogue One into the best movie it can be.

And now we have the first post-reshoots trailer that probably should have debuted at Star Wars Celebration. Check it out:

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
