'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Clip: Sam And Gilly Alive And Headed To the Citadel

A New 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 clip shows Sam en route to Oldtown.

As you might recall, the end of Game of Thrones Season 5 saw Sam and Gilly leave The Wall in to journey to the mysterious Citadel. That’s why Sam wasn’t around to go apeshit on Olly and the rest of the Night’s Watch for stabbing Jon Snow, and it’s why Sam was missing from the last Season 6 clip featuring Dead Jon Snow. But now, at last, we can take a sneak peek at what Sam and Gilly are up to, because everyone cares about Sam and Gilly!

Much like Theon, Season 6 might actually make that statement non-sarcastic. Theon, who was previously a tedious drag bogged down in torture-porn plotlines, will have a big season in the Iron Islands and Sam might just have an interesting time in Oldtown. Check out the clip below.

If Sam managed to make the end of the world work out, perhaps he’ll be the one to discover the key to resurrecting Jon Snow. We’ll find out on April 24, when the show’s sixth season premieres.
