Oh look, it’s a new Star Wars trailer. “But wait! The Force Awakens came out like two months ago and has already made a bazillion dollars and more.” Don’t you worry, consumer of pop culture. This is a trailer for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game.
If you think you’ve seen this one before it’s probably because you have. The trailer is a near-exact copy of the first Force Awakens teaser trailer from the halcyon days of November 2014. But now it comes replete with the marketing genius of making everything in LEGO form. They’re all here: Lego Finn, Lego, Rey, Lego Poe, Lego BB-8, Lego Kylo Ren, and more. It’s two minutes of beautifully perfect corporate synergy. The kids will love it.
