The upper level of Mars’s atmosphere glows green as carbon dioxide molecules break. The European Space Agency’s Trace Gas Orbiter satellite captured this green glow.

NASA’s STEREO-A spacecraft watched as comet ATLAS swooped by the Sun from May 25-June 1.
