You can now order this bizarre e-bike that looks like an actual pipe

Meet the Pocket Rocket

This isn’t actually the first time the world has laid eyes on Sol Motors ’ pipe-like e-bike ( Electrek highlighted this strange EV in 2018), but it is the first time you’ll actually be able to order one.

$6,917 Starting this week, the Germany-based company is accepting pre-orders with a $578 deposit.

Outside of its unique appearance, the Pocket Rocket’s pipe also enables what Sol Motors calls a “naked” design — all of the e-bikes components are housed inside the cylindrical, aluminum frame, including its removable battery.
